There’s a train in your future … welcome aboard!


The Fort Worth Transportation Authority (also known as The T) is developing
plans for a  rail line  across Tarrant County. TEX Rail will follow existing rail lines from Sycamore School Road in southwest Fort
Worth, through downtown Fort Worth, northeast to downtown Grapevine and then
into the north entrance of Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. The project was formerly referred to as the Southwest-to-Northeast Rail Corridor.

Project Status

The T has submitted all documentation required to begin the process of obtaining federal funds.  

Work continues on completing the environmental analysis documents and obtaining approval to move forward with engineering.
