• Provide local information and data related to the groups represented;
• Provide information to The T, consultant team, and other CRC members about local conditions, issues, and concerns;
• Review materials at each project milestone and provide The T and consultant team with information about how proposed elements may impact local citizens, groups, institutions or organizations;
• Serve as a conduit for information, comment forms, and other project materials to members’ respective organizations, neighborhoods or institutions.

The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) for TEX Rail project provides input of a technical nature to development of the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and Preliminary Engineering (PE) process. The Committee is made up of participants representing municipalities, federal, state, regional and local transportation agencies, and key environmental organizations. These groups and individuals have specific technical perspectives or jurisdictional authority. The roles and responsibilities of the Technical Advisory Committee include:

• Provide local information and data related to the group represented;
• Provide information to The T, the consultant team, and other committee members about local conditions, and anticipated projects or goals of local jurisdictions represented to facilitate a better understanding among the project team and TAC members;
• Review materials at each project milestone and provide The T and the consultant team with information about how proposed elements may impact local projects or plans;
• Serve as a conduit of information, comment forms, and other project materials to members’ respective organizations.
